Tidy up. Nothing closes by itself.

One button finds duplicates, week-old tabs and empty new tabs. It suggests, you decide, and every close has Undo for 30 seconds.

TabOverview runs in Chrome on a computer. Send yourself the link for later.

The Tidy up panel offering to close 4 duplicate tabs and 3 empty new tabs, sort scattered sites, review 3 suggested groups and put 22 background tabs to sleep.
Tidy up suggests, and you decide. One copy of each duplicate stays open. Real screenshot of TabOverview. The sites in it are made up.

Select the way you’d expect

Drag across the grid to pick tabs, or tick them one by one. Then group them with a name and colour, close them or save them, all from one bar.

  • Drag any empty space to start a selection
  • Press Return to group straight away
  • Drag cards to another window, group or saved folder
Three selected tab cards in TabOverview, with a bar offering Group, Close, Save, Later, Copy links, New window and Tile windows.
Select tabs, then group, close or save them together. With three or four, the bar offers Tile windows.

Groups it suggests, sites it sorts

Group similar tabs looks at your sites and shared words in your titles, all on your computer, then shows you the groups before making any. Sort by site puts the same sites side by side, and you can close or save a whole site at once.

  • No AI, and nothing sent anywhere
  • Your tabs stay in their window
  • Undo puts everything back

Windows, brought together

Too many windows? Bring windows together keeps your pins, sleeping tabs and Chrome groups. Each window has its own menu to save it, collapse its groups or tile it with the others.

  • Popup and Incognito windows stay separate
  • Undo works here too

Every window has its own menu.

Sleep, when you ask

Put tabs to sleep to free memory, one at a time or all together. TabOverview never does this by itself, and it reminds you to save anything you’re typing first. If another extension put your tabs to sleep, their cards show the real page, and Keep safe in Tidy up can turn them into normal sleeping tabs.

What else it does

Try it on your tabs.
