Every close has Undo

Close one tab or fifty in TabOverview and you get 30 seconds to change your mind. Close several in a row and they join one Undo, which puts them back in their order.

A Closed list that goes back a month

Closed keeps the pages and windows you closed for 30 days, up to 5,000 pages. Search it, or reopen one page, a window or your whole last session. Your tabs earlier shows what you had open on each day for the last 90 days, with one Bring back button for each day.

  • It stays on your computer, and Incognito is left out
  • Keep earlier tabs is a switch you can turn off
  • Clear closed list wipes it all, with Undo

After a crash

TabOverview keeps a small local list of your open pages, updated about every 25 seconds while your tabs change. If two or more pages are missing the next time Chrome starts, Home offers to bring them back, with their windows, pins and groups. Press Undo if you’d rather not.

  • A crash can lose the last 25 seconds or so of changes
  • Pages come back. What you typed into them and where you’d scrolled to don’t
  • The offer lasts 24 hours, or until the next browser start
