Put tabs away. Bring them back when you’re ready.

Save a tab, a selection or a whole window to Later in one press. It closes the tabs, keeps them together as a set, and brings them back when you choose.

TabOverview runs in Chrome on a computer. Send yourself the link for later.

Later keeps each save together as a set, with pictures. Real screenshot of TabOverview. The sites in it are made up.

Sets you can name and tag

Everything you save together stays together, with its pictures. Name a set, give it a tag, collapse it, or drag pages between sets. Press Open and the pages come back asleep, so nothing stalls. Single saves collect by day.

Tag a set, rename it, or choose when it comes back.

Bring it back when it’s useful

Choose this evening, tomorrow morning, Saturday morning, next week, your next Chrome start, or any date and time. The pages reopen quietly at the end of your window, with no notification and no timer running in the background.

  • Chrome needs to be open. If it wasn’t, your pages come back the next time it is
  • You’ll see them the next time you open TabOverview

Later or Save?

Later closes the tab and keeps it ready to come back. Save makes a bookmark and leaves the tab open. Both are real Chrome bookmarks, so they sync with Chrome Sync, need no TabOverview account, and stay in Chrome if you remove TabOverview.

  • Add a private note to any saved page
  • Find duplicate bookmarks in Saved
  • See tabs from your other Chrome devices and open one here

Bring your tabs with you

Coming from another tool? Paste its export or choose the file. It reads the lists most tab tools export, a bookmarks file, or any list of links. It tells you what it found, then adds them as bookmarks in a fresh Brought in folder. Undo removes them again.
