Coming from Edge Collections: find your pages and bring them over

Last reviewed: 2 November 2026

First, find your pages

Then bring them in

Staying in Edge? There’s nothing to import. Your Favorites are what TabOverview shows as Saved.

Moving to Chrome?

  1. In Edge, open Favorites, choose More options, then Export favorites. Edge saves an HTML file.
  2. In TabOverview, open Settings and choose Start, next to Bring tabs from another tool.
  3. Choose the file. TabOverview shows what it found, then adds your pages as Chrome bookmarks in a new folder named Brought in, inside Other Bookmarks. You have 30 seconds to Undo.

Exported to Excel instead? Save the sheet as a CSV file with a column named URL, and choose that file in the same way.

What won’t come with you

TabOverview saves web addresses as normal bookmarks, so images and text clips from a Collection don’t carry over. You can add a note to a saved page, and those notes stay on your computer.

TabOverview is a free extension for Google Chrome on a computer, coming soon to the Chrome Web Store. It needs no registration, and it has no server of its own.
