# Terms of use

- TabOverview is free. Use it as you like, and remove it whenever you like.

- It works on your own tabs and bookmarks, and only does what you ask.

- We work hard to make it safe, but it comes without a guarantee. Your rights under the law stay yours.

## 2. What TabOverview is

TabOverview is a free extension for Google Chrome™. It shows your open tabs as a grid, and helps you find, close and save them. There is no account and no payment. These terms cover the extension and this website. By installing the extension you agree to them.

## 3. What you may do

You may install TabOverview and use it for free, for personal use or for work, for as long as you like. Please don’t sell it, pass it off as your own, or use it to break the law or harm others. The code, the TabOverview name and the logo remain ours.

## 4. Your tabs and bookmarks

TabOverview acts on your tabs and bookmarks when you tell it to. Every close has Undo for 30 seconds, and saved pages are normal Chrome bookmarks. Chrome itself can also change or lose data, for example after a crash, so please keep your own backup of anything you can’t afford to lose.

## 5. Your privacy

TabOverview sends nothing to us. The [privacy policy](https://taboverview.com/privacy) explains what it handles on your computer.

## 6. Updates

Chrome updates extensions by itself. We may add, change or remove features, and we may stop offering TabOverview. If an update needs a new permission, Chrome will ask you first. You can stop using it at any time by removing it.

## 7. No guarantee

TabOverview is free and provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we make no promise that it will always work, work without errors, or keep working with future versions of Chrome. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law as a consumer.

## 8. Liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for loss or damage from using TabOverview or this website, including lost data. This does not limit our liability for harm we cause intentionally, for harm to life, body or health, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

## 9. Other people’s names

Google Chrome and Chrome Web Store are trademarks of Google LLC. TabOverview is not made by, or connected to, Google. All websites shown in the film and pictures on this site are invented. The paintings on this site are in the public domain, courtesy of the National Gallery of Art, Washington.

## 10. Law and disputes

Hungarian law applies. If you’re a consumer living in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country, and you can bring a claim in your local courts. Please write to us first at [hello@groupposting.com](mailto:hello@groupposting.com). We’d like to sort things out directly.

These terms exist in English. We don’t file a separate copy of them for each person, and this page always shows the current version. We don’t follow a code of conduct.

## 11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, the new version goes here with a new date. If you keep using TabOverview after that, the new version applies.
