# How to see all your open tabs in Chrome

Last reviewed: 1 November 2026

Press Ctrl + Shift + A on Windows or Linux, or ⌘ + Shift + A on a Mac, to list your open tabs with Chrome’s Tab Search. To see them all in one grid, with page previews if you want them, you need an extension.

## In Chrome

- **Tab Search** gives you a searchable list of your tabs.

- **Vertical tabs** move the tab strip to the side of the window, which leaves more room for titles.

Google’s help page for Chrome on a computer doesn’t describe a view that shows your tabs as a grid of pictures.

## All in one grid

- Press ⌘ + Shift + O on a Mac, or Alt + Shift + O on Windows. You can also click the TabOverview icon.

- Every open tab appears at once, across all your windows.

- Click a tab, or type two letters and press Return to go there.

With 500 tabs, the grid appears in about 0.12 seconds. [See how we measured it](https://taboverview.com/speed). Page pictures are optional: without them, each card shows the site icon and title.

TabOverview is a free extension for Google Chrome on a computer, coming soon to the Chrome Web Store. It needs no registration and sends nothing to a server.
