# Coming from Edge Collections: find your pages and bring them over

Last reviewed: 2 November 2026

- Microsoft removed Collections in Edge 149, released on 4 June 2026. Your pages may be in your Favorites or at bing.com/saves, depending on your account.

- Once you have them in Favorites, you can export them as a file and bring them into TabOverview in a few clicks.

## First, find your pages

- **If you moved them to Favorites:** each Collection became a folder in your Favorites. Only the web addresses moved. Images and notes didn’t.

- **Personal Microsoft account:** Microsoft says your Collections are still at [bing.com/saves](https://bing.com/saves), and it offers no export for personal accounts. Open the pages you want to keep, then press Ctrl + Shift + D, or ⌘ + Shift + D on a Mac, to save all your open tabs as a Favorites folder.

- **Work or school account:** Microsoft’s export is Send to Excel, in the More options menu of a Collection.

## Then bring them in

**Staying in Edge?** There’s nothing to import. Your Favorites are what TabOverview shows as Saved.

**Moving to Chrome?**

- In Edge, open Favorites, choose More options, then Export favorites. Edge saves an HTML file.

- In TabOverview, open Settings and choose Start, next to Bring tabs from another tool.

- Choose the file. TabOverview shows what it found, then adds your pages as Chrome bookmarks in a new folder named Brought in, inside Other Bookmarks. You have 30 seconds to Undo.

Exported to Excel instead? Save the sheet as a CSV file with a column named URL, and choose that file in the same way.

## What won’t come with you

TabOverview saves web addresses as normal bookmarks, so images and text clips from a Collection don’t carry over. You can add a note to a saved page, and those notes stay on your computer.

TabOverview is a free extension for Google Chrome on a computer, coming soon to the Chrome Web Store. It needs no registration, and it has no server of its own.
